I have to agree with Kristi Merriweather (sp?) that it was an eye-opener and that it caused me to think about my future postings.

Your vlog is true inspring! With my reflection of the blogging/vlogging conference, I found very amazing how bloggers and vloggers created their own personal thoughts to express that will increase personal growth and thoughts. I’d like to see more of ASL vlogs and deaf blogs often to stablize our community and increase the quality of education. Keep it up!

    Nick
PS. Congratulations on your award receipents.

    Hi there, Joey!

Thank you for the feedback from those you were able to videotape. Like many said, it was good to put a face to the signer or writer. Also, as always your own use of ASL is so clear and clean and so easy to understand. Keep on going, Joey. I am your biggest senior citizen fan!!

*grinning* Thanks for sharing your experiences and people you videoed at the conference. I really enjoyed seeing all the faces that went along with the more well-known names! It appears that blogging/vlogging is here to stay, and become a permanent fixture in our Deaf Community. This will, no doubt” elevate Deaf Discourse everywhere around the world. Congrats and thanks to all the vloggers/bloggers who made a tremendous impact in the past year and so! And, Joey, your awards are very well-deserved! : )

Congrats, Joey, on winning DeafRead’s 2006 VLog Site of the Year award! It is not surprising that your vlogging endeavors are easily the benchmark in which future vlogging efforts are measured against.

I look forward to watching more contributions.

Keep up with original phases of your vlogcast with numerous deaf interviews!

You surely forget one “more” factor of your ASL vlog success – your readers. Aha! That would be the FOUR groups to be thank. *grin*

Your vlog surely set the tone of deaf blogsphere in the right direction with sense of civility and discussions/rebuttals in constructive manners.

Congratulation Joey and other award winners. Keep your ASL v/blooging rolling. Love to watch your thoughts in ASL from A to Z and nice to see all v/bloggers’faces. Agree with Amy, wish I can be there to meet and learn many different deaf issues from all of you.

Many congrats on your well-earned accomplishment. I am originally from South Africa, now living in the United Kingdom. In the time of Gally protest, I learned about vlog, which was new to me. Ever since, I am still obsessed with your vlog, which is really inspiring and enlightening. This will definitely bring all Deafies together in turn to share our common knowledge and enhance our everyday lives. I can’t imagine what it is like if Vlog would not existed. Joey, I want to thank you for making this happened. Keep it up!

Hello Joey, just quickly, I’m hearing and have lost touch with signing for many years. My NY’s resolution is to get more involved in deaf. I found your vlog and am planning to keep coming back until I “read” everything. Thank you so much for sharing, and it’s true, you sign beautifully. You’re not bad looking, either. 🙂
